The Tea
Social Media Was My Playground
When Facebook took over the world, I was just a kid—but I was obsessed. Not with posting selfies, but with how people used it. Why did some posts go viral? Why did people behave differently online? I didn’t realize it then, but that curiosity was shaping my future.
I went on to study psychology (because people fascinate me), sociology (because group dynamics are wild), and English (because words hold power). That combo? It turned out to be a marketing superpower. Understanding human behavior, crafting compelling messaging, and using data to back it up? That’s what makes marketing work.
Why I Do This
Now, my work is more than just work. It’s my space. My independence. My creative outlet. The thing I’ve built with my own hands while juggling motherhood, chaos, and way too much caffeine.
And that means I don’t just show up—I show up swinging. I create strategies that work again and again, that keep my clients thriving, and that make brands unmissable.
I don’t do fluff. I don’t do half-measures. I do marketing that delivers.
From Lockdown to Launching a Business
Let’s talk about 2020. The year marketers got chewed up and spat out. Businesses weren’t open, so why would they market? Suddenly, the industry was drowning in redundancies—including me.
I was nine weeks pregnant when my job got put at risk. Absolute panic mode. I had an expiry date plastered on my stomach, and I knew no one was going to hire a marketer about to go on maternity leave. So, I started freelancing immediately—while the industry was the most competitive it had ever been.
Then, halfway through my pregnancy, my partner was also made redundant. No maternity leave for me. I was setting ads live from my birthing pool. Say what you want, but you can’t question my work ethic. It was do or die, and that pressure made me need to get it right.
Gaming, Writing, Painting & The Art of Attention
When I’m not running campaigns, I’m gaming, painting, or writing books I’ll probably never publish. But all of that plays into what I do.
Gaming
It’s strategy, storytelling, and immersion. Just like marketing.
Writing
It’s about crafting narratives people care about. Just like marketing.
Everything I do comes back to how people engage with content—and I’ve spent my entire life studying, experimenting, and fine-tuning what works.
Painting
It’s about capturing attention, emotion, and a moment in time. Just like marketing.
